The SOL Rally team was formed in 1999, when Guy bought
'M69 SOL' an ex-works RS2000 Kit Car.

DRIVER: GUY WOODCOCK.
Guy is a chartered surveyor from Llanferris in North Wales.
He has had a lot of success as a Road Rally driver, before his rise in form on Stage Rallies.

CO-DRIVER: ME (sometimes) & DAVE WILLIAMS.
 
CREW: The car was prepared and is serviced on events by:
KEN JONES, MIKE JONES, TIM MORRIS & PETE WELCH.

THE CAR.

The car has a 2litre 16 valve twin-cam engine, producing approx. 245 BHP, mated to an X-Trac 6 speed sequencial dog box, with viscous diff. and full throttle gear shift. 
Suspension is Proflex front and rear, with lightweight track control arms, and rear axle beam.
Full kit-car bodywork with lightweight panels.
The car runs on 365mm front discs with 18 inch alloys and KUMHO tyres in tarmac spec.
320mm front discs with 15 inch alloys with KUMHO tyres in forest spec.
